We provide emotional and educational support to children and young adults who have or had a loved one battling Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease.
HLC is the only nonprofit in the United States with this specific and important mission.
Camp HLC is a three-day, overnight retreat for children and young adults, ages 6-21, who have or have had a loved one battling ALS, as well as their families. It is an opportunity to have fun, to be challenged through team building exercises, and to meet peers going through the same thing.
Camp is provided free for our ALS families by Hope Loves Company and our sponsors. All meals and activities are included.
You can help by volunteering at any of our HLC events. From setting up tables to assisting children with projects, your help is always needed.
Our premier event, Camp HLC, depends on volunteers to create a fun, safe, and successful weekend. Whether you are volunteering your time and skills or attending camp with a child, you are in for a special weekend.Learn More
We would not be able to provide our wonderful programs without supporters like you! Any financial contribution is very much appreciated.
